OUR INGREDIENTS

We strive to use high quality ingredients, sometimes partnering with local businesses. Our passion for providing the best in comfort food is evident. Everything is made from scratch with the highest quality and locally sourced ingredients. Making everything from scratch is extremely important to us. This means our products are free of chemicals and preservatives, while full of flavor and comfort.

Your satisfaction is our top priority. We love a challenge and exploring new/unique flavor combinations, if you have custom order ideas, don’t hesitate to ask!

If you are a local business and are interested in partnering with us, please don’t hesitate to reach out! We believe in collaboration, not competition. We can all duplicate the same recipe, but we cannot duplicate ourselves.

Angelina Sims, Owner/Operator

Angelina was born and raised in the Midwest, the land of “dessert bars”, “hotdishes” and lots of cheese. Her obsession with baking began with her Grandma Nancy’s Pumpkin Bars, which were pure heaven. As she grew older, Angelina started experimenting with cooking as well. For personal and health reasons, Angelina began finding ways to make her favorite baked goods and hotdishes from scratch, rather than from cookie mixes and condensed soups, which are full of chemicals and preservatives. Baking and cooking became a hobby for Angelina, but her first passion was animals. She worked in Veterinary Medicine for 10 years before retiring from the field. When Angelina moved to Florida in 2011, she quickly realized how different the food culture was and missed many Midwestern staples. Now she is focusing on her new passion and second career, owning a cafe and bakery business.
